For this Madden Offensive Tips video breakdown, we look at two plays from the Arizona Cardinals Two Plays To Counter The Run Stop Glitch. The two plays are from the Gun Doubles Y Off. The play names are Jet Touch Pass and Fake Jet HB Seam.
The play we use for the write up is Gun Doubles Y Off – Jet Touch Pass. In the video breakdown, we show both the Gun Doubles Y Off – Jet Touch Pass and Fake Jet HB Seam. The Jet Touch Pass has the slot receiver sent in auto motion to the right.
Once the ball is snapped, the quarterback will flip the ball to the slot receiver. Notice in the screenshot above the Blocking Dead is being set up for the slot receiver.
The running back can look to block to the inside or to the outside depending on what the defenders come into his line of sight..
Once the receiver gets to the outside, he should have daylight to pick up positive yardage.
In the image above, the slot receiver has a clear path towards the end zone for a touchdown.
