Default Assignments:

Note: assignments are from the offensive side view of the ball.

Quick Set-Up:

1. Pinch Defense
2. Move the MLB down near the line of scrimmage between the C and RG.
3. Release the middle linebacker.
4. Switch to the right end and move him left until he can't move no more.
5. Once the ball is snapped, manually pass rush him to the left at the 7 o'clock position on the controller.
6. Once the LG looks to block him, drop him back in pass coverage.

Coaching Points:

1. The Nickel 3-3-5 Wide – Mike Blitz 3 design is to bring edge pressure from the left outside linebacker.
2. If your team has an elite edge pass rusher, make sure he lines up opposite side of the left outside linebacker to get double edge pressure.
3. Drop the right into the short middle of the field or release him.
4. Five defenders pass rush the quarterback.
5. Six defenders drop back in pass coverage.
