What I like about this defense is there are three different blitz setups that you can bring heat from three different defenders based on how you set it up. Quick Set-Up:
- Turn auto flip off
- Base align
- Spread defensive line
- Move MLB between the C and LG.
- Hot route MLB to blitz.
- After the snap, drop the MLB back into pass coverage.
Coaching Points:
- Depending on how you set the blitz up, one of three defenders will put pressure on a quarterback.
- Even if one of the key defenders that we show in the video breakdown don't get the pressure on the quarterback, one of the outside blitzers will.
- Be sure to put a fast defensive in at the weak side defense attack in a position for best results.
