For this Madden Tips and Plays video we breakdown a few blitz setups from the 3-4 Cub – Trio Sky Zone that brings A-Gap and C Gap Heat With Only A Four Man Pass Rush. We also want to show an adjustment we can do with the nose tackle with the 3-4 Cub that we haven't seen in other defensive formations. For instance, this defense adjustment allows us to get A-Gap at heat without having to control him, thus allowing us to control other defenders to drop back in pass coverage while still getting A and C Gap Heat.

In conclusion, the 3-4 Cub – Trio Sky Zone brings A-Gap and C Gap Heat With Only A Four Man Pass Rush works for pretty much any team in Madden 22. Of this assumes the nose tackle has good speed. We prefer the nose tackle to at least have a 82 + speed to get a heat on the quarterback, where he shoots through the A-Gap and applies pressure. This means you may have to sub in a defensive end at the nose tackle position for this to work. If you also have a fast linebacker which most teams do, be sure to have him at the left outside linebacker position to bring heat from the outside.
