One of our favorite compressed formations to run is the Gun Split Close. What we we like the about this formation is it used 11 personel, often allowing us find favorable matchups.
Formation Diagram:
The Gun Split Close features the slot and flanker lined up tight on the right side of the formation. The split end, lines up tight on the left side. The runningback and tight end line up in the backfield on both sides of the quarterback.
